Brian Walker
Brian has worked in digital commerce, software and marketing for over thirty years, having held leadership roles in almost every conceivable role around the proverbial table - practitioner, product owner, start-up founder, analyst, software, services, and then back to software. Highlights include: leading commerce industry research at Forrester Research in the defining time of the market, strategy at hybris software pre-SAP acquisition, SAP CX in its major growth phase, Accenture Interactive’s Global Commerce Offering, Strategy at Bloomreach as the company was repositioned for market leadership and growth.
Brian’s go-to cocktail is a Boulevardier, often annoyingly coaching bartenders through making this awesome Negroni variation with bourbon instead of gin. But then they tend to thank him later.
Bill Friend
Bill is a twenty-five year plus sales veteran and go-to-market leader, most recently as GM at Adobe leading the Enterprise GTM. Previous to that, Bill was GM of Sydney based Fluent Commerce launching them in North America, incl. establishing the brand, building the partner channel and landing early critical lighthouse customers. Throughout his time in the digital marketing and commerce tech market, Bill has held senior leadership positions in sales, built high-performance teams, establishing sales and gtm strategy working with product and marketing as early as Vignette but moving on to Endeca and hybris where he met up with Brian and went on to lead SAP CX in the west.
Bills' go-to cocktail when walking into some random bar is something bitter and boozy - that ideally has an Amaro in it he hasn't tried yet. Fat chance.
